New hpfp fitting tomorrow |
|
Well after the worst and most expensive 8 month of d3 ownership let's hope this hpfp sorts it
Had new injectors x3
Turbo
Gearbox and converter
Lower arms front
Rear upper arms
New pads and discs all round
Egrs blanked
New cam belt and pump belt
New aux belt and tensioner
Softwear upgrade
D4 rear lights
Boot catch replaced
Expansion bottle changed
Low pressure fuel pump
Front rack and rod ends
Rear track arms
Rear wheel bearings
Had problems every week with it but seems to be getting worse now with fault codes logged and limp mode if you boot it p2290 and p120f
Fingers crossed or this will be up for sale by the end of the week

Well I've got a 57 plate have owned it six years,
Front wheel bearings, front lower arms rear upper arms track rod arms & ends compressor discs & pads glow plugs egrs blanked inter cooler & hoses rear calliper anti roll bar bushes cam belts & oil pump, and she's done 153,500 miles I would call most of mine wear & tear but most of the work was done by me so saved a few pounds in labour at least, so you are not on your own & soon it will be trouble free & you will enjoy her

Well like I said you should be at the end I've just been to the south of France with the tin hut and the only problem I had was sensor in expansion bottle, I've got great confidence in we are off to Italy in 6 weeks with tin hut and love driving it there, so chin up just make sure you are using a good garage if not doing repairs yourself and with the suspension use genuine parts as the others don't last as I find out good look

Well I won't be the only one to say this but you are wasting your time reading a D3 with that look on my posts find Geoff & pm him he as the right equipment to read & program, I purchased the Hawkeye it reads & clears fault codes on the D3 but doesn't program, stop using the snap on to read the D3 Geoff is your best bet & I am sure it's going to be the way to sort your D3 & enjoy the drive good luck
