Getting those high values for mpg involve motorway miles and keeping under 55mph. Good for the wallet but not good for the soul.

If I could get that, I would have a party, just pulled the tin tent 300Km = 18MPG on the dash, didn't bother working it out brim to brim or I might have to give the tin tent up. Sad

I took my tin tent to the south of France 22mpg there 18mpg back with the wind, my D3 is a manual, I've spoken to a few that have had sensible remaps that have improved their towing mpg, might be worth a thought Thumbs Up

Towed my twin axle to brean and back last weekend and came back for swmbo (No tintent and back again) lie-o-meter said 30.2 and that was not really hanging around so well chuffed and please don't tell what it was in reality as it would spoil my permagrin that I got at moment Bow down

I got 33.5mpg yesterday driving from Suffolk to the Lakes fully loaded at 75 indicated.
I know it's nearer 30mpg in reality, but it makes you feel better.

Best I have got was just over 18 but that was on LPG. Typically mine does around 12 towing, 14-15 pootling around locally and 17 on the run, that's all on LPG at around 53p a litre, so cost wise equivalent to 24, 29 and 34 plus.
