Cool - we should have a table of mileage with typical issues at that mileage.
e.g. 100,000 alternator, 105,000 belts, 115,00 battery, 125,000 TC etc

And another one....
... Just realised I missed the '11th' anniversary of registering on here of the 'blue meanie' when I was full of trepidation about the order of one of these new fangled Discovery 3's when I was still quite happy with the trusty D2 (ES) ! Anyway, regardless of the more testing times of ownership, I am nearing the similar anniversary of ownership of said D3, it's still a brilliant motor and the older it gets, the more like a well fitting pair of favourite shoes it becomes...
I still have no desire to 'upgrade' to a D4 as the more honest/basic/original (insert your own adjective here ) & ( no offence to you face lifters intended ) D3 suits me just fine
11th birthday major refresh is on the cards though to give it a new lease
