Footie fans can come and join the real men supporting rugby and cricket. Doing quite well at those these days. We can make some notes to help with the rules/laws: they're a bit more complicated than the off-side rule but you'll be fine, honest!

I started off in an English school with a round ball before moving to Scotland and finding out they used an oval one so I quickly learned 2 things I carry with me for the rest of my life -
Football is great to play but boring to watch
Rugby is great to watch but very very painful to play

Me I don't mind Rugby, not so keen cricket, was a keen hockey player in my younger days, various broken fingers are testament to that
