Small coolant leak near passenger side firewall

Having looked under the vehicle, there is no evidence of a leak until the engine is started and up to temperature. Then a small leak, probably a teaspoon per minute can be seen leaking from in front of the passenger side firewall I.e. Back of engine bay. A mate suggested this was possibly caused by rubber hose to aluminium tube corrosion where the coolant pipes join up with the air heater (for climate control)

Does anyone else concur with this and any ideas on the best way to fix it? I've been looking hard for instructions on how to get to the air heater but not coming up with anything!

Thanks chaps

Just discovered (at last) that its called the heater core/heater matrix - all of a sudden, searches show up a million relevant results Smile

Seems that the O-rings that ensure a good seal on between the heater pipes and the heater core will fail after some time, causing coolant to leak either into the foot well or just outside the firewall into the engine bay.

Doesn't seem to be a big deal to get in there and replace them, but it always is Smile

I still havent attacked this job for fear that it might turn out to be a behemoth task. Has anyone seen a thread related to this anywhere on the net?

I found this one but its specific to P38 Range Rover:

(there are some useful left hand drive notes at the end of it too)
