Any one know (JMC !) if these radios are legal in France and Spain.

Both France and Spain have adopted PMR446 and so it is legal to use PMR446 spec radios there, this website gives a list of which countries permit use of PMR446 and what if any restrictions are in place.Darren Griffin

Entel is not the one which can be way over powered ? If yes, then it is illegal in France where you should have a Private radio Amateur license. If it is under the power limit then it should be legal...
But honestly, I don't think that you should be too worried about that... The average Gendarme is quite unlikely to notice it as different from a Cb or a normal PMR radio...
