For sale I have my beloved Land Rover Discovery 3 in Black due to not needing a large car any longer. This car was purchased a) for my love of Land Rovers and b) For business use. The business I owned is no longer in service therefore the car is just to large to keep for a family of two.
This Discovery 3 is one of the last made of this shape being a '59 plate before the face lifted Discovery 4 was released in 2010. In black, I think it's the most desirable colour as it looks stunning and makes it look much newer! The car does have a few cosmetic internal and external scratches but nothing more than you'd expect from this type of vehicle and it's age! It only has one slightly 'deep' scratch on the rear panel on the passenger side.
The car has covered just under 81k miles (may rise due to usage whilst I still own the vehicle) and is MOT'd until January 2017 - which passed with flying colours! It has a full service history with most carried out at a Lookers Land Rover network and another being at a Jaguar and Land Rover Specialist.
This Discovery 3 has some nice extras such as -
* Full BLACK leather interior, all seats in very good condition for it's age!!
* Harman Premium sound system with subwoofer in the tail gate
* Large touchscreen with Sat-Nav and I updated it to include the 4x4 info which shows wheel and height position plus some other nifty features!
* AUX input for any generic MP3 device
* Electronic parking brake
* 7 seats!! (Two fold out in the rear)
* I upgraded the grill to the honeycomb version which makes it look like a Discovery 4 front end
* Chrome wing mirrors.
* Fully working air suspension which has three height settings.
* Heavy Duty Tow bar (Will throw in a tow rope!)
* Discovery 4 style air vent
* Blacked out rear windows
* Only 2 previous owners!
I have also done some repairs and maintenance on the vehicle which includes upgrading the front bushes to Poly Bushes which are slightly stiffer and much longer lasting than the Land Rover ones. This totaled approx £600 and I also had the electronic parking brake replaced along with all disc brakes and pads, front and back costing around £1.3k!
If you know about these vehicles, you will know that these are the two most common faults which people will not repair and just flog on due to their cost! I also have the receipts to back up these works!
The only bad thing about this vehicle is that the drivers side, side step has become faulty and will need replacing. It may need just a new bracket but after a search online, the whole unit can be purchased brand new for approximately £100 (for a pair I believe).
This really is a great example of one of these vehicles and I will be exceptionally sad to see it go but needs must! I strongly advise viewing but appointments will have to be made prior to any inspections due to me working during the days.
I'm looking to get £15.6k and it is ready to be purchased immediately.

How come this has the wrong trim ?? 07 on has the soft leather trim ? Not the pin hole seats ?

Not sure on trim remark, never changed it myself!
Price may or may not be off but I have seen similar sell for more and vice versa.
Testing the water and have had various enquiries from other selling platforms so will see how it goes! I purchased this for £19.5k at 65k and knew I was paying more than similar specd vehicles but I know it is mechanically sound and been well looked after.

The extras you have listed are part of standard spec for an HSE so guessing this has been upgraded to that spec?
If so were the extra HK speakers added as well as the sub and has the system got the logic/dts system?
What is the documented spec of the vehicle? S/SE/HSE?

It is the HK system down from top including sub in tail gate.
Spec is XS.
As in previous post, testing the water and charging what I think it's worth. I'm in no desperation to sell but will obviously be open to any offers should there be any!
