No problems with the EPB over the 4 months & 2000 miles
Infact the only warning sign Iv had is 'slow down transmission overheating'
when doing some heavy impossible to master left foot breaking on a long rock crawl in the lakes.

Mine has gone into the dealers again via LR Assist, LRA came out due to flashing red brake warning light and parking brake failing to lock on following a good series of screaching noises. So LRA guy wouldnt let me drive vehicle as classed as unsafe, so off to the dealers it went.
This is NOT the first time either, this is deffo a weakness of the D3 and is a shame as the vehicle is fantastic when it works!!
Also Guy Salmon have rang to say the front and rear brake pads are at 90% wear, and do I want them to replace them, quoting £330 all in!!!!
I have in the past fitted pads into other cars I have had, a 30 minute job, is this an easy job to do myself on the D3, or will I have to bite the bullet and pay the cash???

Nothing difficult about doing the discs/pads on the D3. Don't Panic! Everything will be fine.... inflation is only 2.5% 3.0% 3.3% and the flying pigs are carbon neutral

Car has been in the dealers since last Friday
Just got it back today after having a new EPB fitted.
However Land Rover are refusing to pay for it ...dont know why?. I have been on to customer services who were not that helpfull and not very forthcomming about the issue.
So that leaves Stratstones to foot the bill at the moment ..they are obviously going to persue the matter to get there money from LR.
Stratstones have said all along it needed replacing , something to do with the gearing inside slipping .
Just cant understand why LR are refusing to pay.
Big thanks to Stratstones Bury for letting me take my car without me having to fork out anything ...hope you get it refunded from LR JAVA BLACK SE , MANUAL , PRIVACY GLASS , EBONY LEATHER , COLOUR CODED PARTS , SIDE PROTECTION TUBES , HIDDEN WINCH (12000 LBS) , 19" HSE WHEELS.

My EPB locked on on the way to London from Birmingham. By the time i arrived in my Chelsea tractor in Chelsea there were no linings left on the n/s. All of the springs and clips were loose inside the drum ! The dealers fitted a complete new axle set of shoes and disc/drums.

I had that too - they overlaid the loom with a few wires to diagnose, and when they found the faulty connector, they fixed it. No spare parts required mooie koplampen

No options for electronic faults like the one I had oriinally... but I was able to vote for 'some of the above' having had screamers, and still suffering from a bit of creep at traffic lights. mooie koplampen

Have been in twice for this, seem where the brake and stuff is ( me not technical ) aint the best place if you take D3 off road. Dealer said only issues have been with D3's that go offroad ( ie mud, dirt etc) not say RRS with same brake set up as none, or very rare venture off road. Warranty first time, paid for parts second time, they logged a report with LRA,

Last time mine got the screaming meamies was when I changed to low box to tow my lawn tractor out of a fence. I had not been offroad for months before that. Needed cleaning & readjustment. Why would the change to low box screw with it?? Honda Dog U better DUCK!!!!!
