TDV6 Engine Removal

Hi, This might be a silly question but is it possible to remove a tdv6 engine from a lr3 from the top? without taking the body off (i.e. via the bonnet gap/hole/aperture)? or what would i need to remove to get at the big end shells? Cheers Richard
