I had these symptoms when running in a straight line and it was the steering angle sensor alignment, but I was towing, although I cannot see that it was relevant. Got it fixed the following day and didn't happen again.

They are all just communication errors, so really we have very little to go on.

Afternoon all yesterday my d3 whent into a local independent landrover specialist for them to investigate this hdc fault they use autologic test equipment. Unfortunately they wasn't able to tell me anymore than the icarsoft scanner i have does the only thing they could say was it would appear to be a wiring isue and couldn't give any idea on cost witch i can understand but also didn't feel happy to let them carry on without an idea of cost so i picked the car up last night . To day i was looking into it myself and can replicate all the fault codes by removing the rigid black pipe that runs from the airbox and down beside the viscous fan shroud i did run a test on the maf sensor from some info i found on line and it seems to be ok also im thinking if it was the sensor would it give a code for that . Im thinking is there a air leak between the air box and turbo ,if it was after the turbo i think the vehicle would be throwing out lots of smoke witch it is not .
Any of you clever chaps come across this before many thanks Rob Thumbs Up
