Given up trying to get them to work, just dismissing it as a ghost in the machine.

Don't know if it will be an issue with these (or anyone else) but I couldn't get the LED bulbs to work in my D4 front puddle lights, no matter what I tried. Not polarity, I think it saw no resistance and thought it was a short so stopped any juice. No problem in the rears or on my D3 front puddle lights. Weird with a capitol WEE!!

Good to know it wasn't just me and that my theory on the resistor bit was right. Just leaving the filament bulbs in there, not worth (for me) trying to find something specially for them. But thanks for the tip.

Wooooohoooooo!!! Got LEDs working in the front door puddle lights.
It only took the demise of Old Bluie and the LEDs that were in the side light slot (different from the rest) and hey presto, they work!!!!

I can't remember if I got these from AF or HID4U as it was a long, long time ago but they work, that's the main thing. Must have a higher resistance so the car doesn't see it as a short. Happy days.
PS And a pic showing the difference between the original bulb and the LEDs. As discussed above, leaving one filament bulb in the LHS map reading slot as the LEDs have a habit of killing your night vision if you need to put an internal light on at night.

Got a full kit interior kit from these guys: http://www.powerfuluk.com
Flawless and even includes the tool to help the fitting.
(not associated with them in any way)

I tried to change old blueish front puddle leds into whiter Vanssi leds and I cant get them work. Now even the old ones are not working. I checked the voltage and it seems that there is something wrong because there is no voltage on front puddles anymore. Is there a fuse for them?
Rear ones are working.

Try putting a couple of old filament type bulbs (the original ones) back in to see what happens. My theory is the car sees no resistance (LEDs are very low) and thinks it's a short. Putting the original bulbs back in will reset it and if they fire up then all is well, you just need LED bulbs with higher resistance.

I changed the old bulbs to front doors and they work. It is strange that leds are ok in every other place but not in front doors.
Would those powerfulUKs led panels work on front doors?

No idea, bit of a gamble buy and see. I was just lucky that the ones I had in the old car's side lights worked.
