Hey! its one thing calling Team Iron a bunch of "melons", but wild come on now, thats just silly
Ray did fine, we just pointed him in the direction of NORTH when we last saw him at Sandbach services, and he drove off Silver TDV6 HSE

Some of you may remember that Betsy came out of the dunes on the final day running a little rough, on 3 cylinders etc. She still drove ok, and got all the way home although with a certain roughness in her voice!
Anyway, today I had a close look, and found the number 2 cylinder with only 60psi compression, with all the others at 145psi.
Took the head off and found the exhaust valve on number 2 with a piece missing. Easily fixed, but its amazing she drove 1500 miles home in this condition!
The cause I reckon is when I missed a gear coming off a dune, and possibly over-revved her somewhat! Silver TDV6 HSE
