unknown washer pipe?
so took out the battery to check the TC module pins as have a fault and found this pipe loose up top and just pocking through the bottom.
any ideas?

It's the battery vent pipe.
Should push into the battery on the end, at the top.

Thanks Pete, i am dumb sometimes. saw that fitting on the battery but took no notice!

That silver box in the photo.
read on here that the pins on the connector can get corroded and cause fault codes.
My look very clear unless i am looking in the wrong place.
