Lake District Green Lanes
Was up in the Lake District on the 22/23 October, doing some lanes and camping. Had a great time....

Some lovely photos there. Those alloys really suit the D3. Just the right balance of chunkyness Vs styling.
Also, is that adriatic blue? If its, obviously thats the best colour

Hi Bernard, here are a couple I found. We're still working on the layout at the back, and the drawers are a new addition, as we were trying them out for position. It's still work in progress....

I like those drawers, did you make them?

No, I bought the drawers, but ended up modifying them. The drawers are mounted on a ball bearing roller, which means the drawer only opens three quarters. This looses valuable space at the rear, and as my wife is a little short could not reach right to the back of the top drawer. I removed all their ball bearings and mounted the drawer on a super long extendable slide, which allows the drawer to come right out.

Excellent pictures John.
Are the drawers Front Runner ones or another make?
How big is the fridge in the boot?
Got the slimline rack as we spoke about during the summer, next year is tent and other kit.

The drawers are from "ARB Outback", and the fridge is a National Luna Weekender 50L, on a Big Country slide. It's a 40L fridge with a separate 10L freezer. The freezer is great, as it holds enough frozen meat for the wife and I for about 2 weeks.
