major fuel leak and engine cut out

Hi all,

My fathers disco 3 has just died in the middle of the mountains, it appears to have a major fuel leak on ns, the wishbone is covered in fuel. besides the fbh is there any other pipes that it could be?

The car started misfiring and within a minute died, are the pipes to fbh connected to the rest of system that could cause the engine to die?

thanks

That's the side with the fuel heat exchanger and filter.

Most common issue is the leak off pipes split or the seal leaks or the securing pins spring off and the leak off pipe Censored out diesel everywhere.
But it sounds like the leak may be fpbefore the injectors if it's not starting, so look for the fuel heat exchanger which is on the passenger side (uk vehicles)
