I'm told she just (13:30 GMT) got Airborn again from Cottismore and is heading back to Brunt with Martin Withers (Black Buck Pilot (Falklands Raid)) at the helm.

Flight is to plan and is calling at Marham, Cambridge and landing at Bruntingthorpe.

The fact that it never turned into a hot war was testament to their prowess.

Vulcon 607 is a very good read.

Reminds me of the old joke:

Begger was parked outside the Guards Club in London with sign "Falklands War Veteran". Chap in pin stripe suit & rolled up brolly strides up and says "Jolly good show that Falklands War, was there myself and we showed the Argies a thing ot two." With that he throws a few coins in the hat.

Muchos Gracias relied the begger! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
