Just got mine back from Stealers. New front brake pads (£145), steering arm thingie, frame mounting bushes whatjimicallits and a new horn, all under warranty. Shame they couldn't find the intermittent faut with driver's side rear window. And it is looking so clean, reminds me of what a colour Buck Blue is! Honda Dog U better DUCK!!!!!

I've just covered 860 miles in the past 38 hours and apart from a painful pocket am still enjoying the permgrin I bought three years ago!! South Coast to North West Coast, North West Coast to West Coast and then back to the South Coast. Stacks of D3s on the road, but none with stickers! Managed 26.5mpg with my expo r/rack, maybe its time to consider TT. Just wondering how to get it past SWMBO.
Cheers

After all the rain recently, it was really good to go to Anglesey today. Had a bit of work at Rhosneigr, and spent lunchtime parked up at the end of the runway at RAF Valley watching the planes, in GLORIOUS sunshine Silver TDV6 HSE

Well I had planned to write that I'd just fitted my Dual battery set-up, but as Customs still had hold of the bits I needed, I couldn't do that
So, I ended up giving the car a good once over, snow foam, 2 buckets etc etc. Then after I'd worked extra hard to remove all the suicide bugs on the front of the car, decided on a spruce up with some Klasse All In One, followed by two coats of Jetseal 109 and then finally a quick coat of Purple Juice Wax.
Now looks !
Was hoping that it was going to rain on the way to Heathrow this morning, but looks like a lovely sunny (suicide bug heaven) day! TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's(in the shed!), Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.
Need black RRS wheel centre caps.
Now with added Engel.....
We D3, therefore we are..........

Took my 2 brothers and nephews green laning in the Peaks today. I drove the D3 with younger bro as navigator. Other bro and nephews had Betsy for the day. Superb weather, and a great day out.
Only nasty bit was when Betsy stalled and went on strike and refused to start halfway up the steps on Roych Clough D3 towed her up the steps and to the end of the lane, when she started first turn as though nothing had happened
Did Pindale, and Putwell Hill/Millers dale also. The climb out of Pindale quarry is getting intersting, many large rocks have appeared on the track, and the exit at the top has washed out and is a 3-wheel exit once again Silver TDV6 HSE

Sounds good - sorry I couldn't join you Gareth but after reading your post I think I would have absolutely sh** my pants if I'd been up there with the FFRR - spent the WHOLE afternoon BBQ'ing and boozing - a reasonable consolation methinks Steve N | 2006 TDV6 S Auto in Buckingham Blue | Member of the top ten club | Am I online?
