Any help with my fuelling problem please ?
My problem is, whenever I ask for full power to overtake or similar manoeuvre, the engine just dies and goes into limp mode.
Fault code is P2290 -00 Injector control pressure too low
I had this same probably about 6 months ago, so thought l would swap the fuel filter for a genuine one. This worked perfectly the car was transformed. It then drove fine for probably 4 months before one day cutting out again, since that day it’s got progressively worse, until now it does it every time you accelerate too hard.
Does it sound like fuel pump problem ? High or Low pressure ?

Or possibly the filter is restricted again? If so, it may be worth dropping the tank and giving it a clean out & bactericide treatment.
LP fuel pumps generally sound very 'whiny' when they're on their way out. There is a prefilter in the tank, supposedly fitted for life but once the tank module is out it's not to difficult a job to remove, clean and backflush.
We've had quite a few in-tank fuel pump issues through the doors since the (queuing for) fuel 'crisis' in March...

As Flatlander says, if a new filter fixed it last time, then why not try that again?

Mine is in the garage with the same problem. I will post on here when they find the fault with it as it might be the same.

I guess that might work, but really want to know why it's doing it rather than just replace the filter every few months.

Well if the filter keeps clogging up then the logical conclusion is that there's a load of crap in your fuel tank.
