I have just been doing some financial reconcilliation after Morocco, and have discovered that Betsy used approx 230 gallons of petrol door to door
For the metrics amongst you, thats over 1040 litres.
If the enviro ssers are to be believed, expect a warm summer in Africa next year Silver TDV6 HSE

The mile-ometer reckons about 3250, but its a 41 year old instrument who reckons 55mph is 65 most of the time, if the needle stays still long enough to read between the corrugations, so accuracy is not guaranteed Silver TDV6 HSE

I reckon about 14mpg avereage However, there was one day that I totalled it at 8mpg. On the journey there and back, it would appear that 15-17 was the normal figure. Silver TDV6 HSE

See if anyone can beat this.......Last weekend I was at the Land Rover Party (Les Comes 2007) just outside Barcelona.....I reset the trip computer before starting the climb to the top of the mountain and this is the result when we finally stopped (admittedly after only a few kilometres).
50.5 l/100km = 4.6mpg. Shortly after this it dropped to 52.7l/100km = 4.4mpg

Gareth, i am amazed at how tough the old girl is, all that mileage and punishment and still going strong. Bet it was bloody hot in there though in the desert My old V8 90 was boiling and heat from the gearbox etc always filled the car along with a small of petrol, class!! 2007 D3 TDV6 GS Auto

She was a little warm in the desert, you could have boiled the Jetboil by just standing the cup on the floor
Equally she was very cold on the mountains and driving home through Spain. However, I reckon its easier getting hot and staying hot in the desert. Jumping in and out of air conditioned cars must be hell Silver TDV6 HSE
