Heated front screen

Hi guys my heated front screen only defrosts about a 3 inch strip down the centre of the front screen where theres a small stone chip would i need to get a new front screen and if so do you think my insurance would replace the screen with another heated one

When mine stopped working, all of a sudden my screen cracked for some reason. Whistle . I got a new one for the excess on my insurance. 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

I think so long as the car had a heated screen from new then yes they should replace like for like.

Mine was more authentic, I held a rock in place with pipe grips and whacked it with a lump hammer. 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey
