Lots of T-Cut needed.
We live in a old Bath stone quarry. The rear of our house is approximately 15 feet from the quarry wall, which has in the past been stabilised with blocks and more recently the underground mines have been filled in with foamed concrete.
This afternoon the garden wall and part of the garden belonging to our neighbour who lives on the land above the quarry wall collapsed and fell on to our land. Unfortunately it fell on to our parking spaces for our Saab and D4

I had been out there less than 5 minutes before it happened. A huge bit of masonry hit and destroyed the recycling box next to the kitchen door.
Both houses and cars are all insured. I suspect we'll be opening a massive can of worms when it comes to negligence, due to the work that was completed a few years ago. So I better not say anymore.
The photo doesn't show it, but the damage above the ns passenger door is actually a hole. A bit too early to speculate, but gut feeling is the D4 will be written off, the Saab definitely so. A real shame as it was a great example and we'd planned to keep it forever.
On the bright side, if it hadn't been raining today I'd have been out there cleaning and treating the convertible roof. So it saved me that job.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

DSL, I'd say yes if it weren't for the hole in the side of the roof.
Assuming the worst, I'd have to get a pre-reg Landmark I guess. The D5 would be a reluctant alternative. As great a vehicle as it is, it really doesn't suit my needs. Plus, I wasn't comfortable in the one I sat in last Sunday. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Holy shmoly just never know a few mins or seconds and things can be so very different. Insurance for possessions that can be replaced. Living breathing family friends it somehow carries no weight, glad it's possessions, but could have been different from what you say.Commercial SDV6 8 Speed 255
