But you know nothing yet, you believe what you want to believe and dismiss what you don’t want to believe. Unless you have a crystal ball you can’t possibly know how it’s going to work out. But of course I’ve wasted my time typing this as you know exactly how it’s going, while you’re there let me know the lottery numbers as you must know those too DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I know.
Since we've been in that deep post-vote recession and suffering from the emergency punishment budget it has been murder.

Ah so it's moved from post-brexit to post-vote ....I'm pretty sure the suggestion of any doom totally relates to post brexit and always has done.

You are quite wrong DG.
Although, there were so many calamitous things were going to happen it was difficult to keep track.
(Was it recession immediately following the vote, or was that World War 3?)
Anyway, checked and yep, Gorgeous George said the Treasury told him it'd be 4 quarters of negative 'growth' immediately following the vote to leave.

To be fair to George, though I don't know why, the Treasury analysis really did forecast a year-long recession following the Brexit vote.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Aye, it's been a cracking year hasn't it:
"The economy grew by just 0.2 per cent in the first quarter of 2017, making it the slowest-growing advanced economy and representing a marked slowdown from the 0.7 per cent expansion seen in the final three months of 2016. June’s inconclusive general election appeared to dent consumer confidence further."
"The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said while it continued to measure quarter-on-quarter growth of 0.3% between April and June, the annual growth rate for gross domestic product (GDP) was 1.5%.
It had given an earlier estimate of 1.7% and said it represented the weakest annual growth performance since 2013 despite an uplift in its original readings for business investment and exports.
Perhaps of greatest concern will be a decline in output in the country's powerhouse service sector - responsible for the vast majority of UK growth since the financial crisis."
"The eurozone’s economy once again grew faster than the UK’s in the third quarter of 2017, according to the latest data, confirming the divergence in economic fortunes between Britain and the continent as Brexit approaches in 2019.
Eurostat estimated on Tuesday that the collective GDP of the 19 states of the single currency area grew by 0.6 per cent in the three months to September, faster than the 0.4 per cent growth registered by the UK over the same period".
"Executives from the UK’s biggest car manufacturers including BMW, Honda, Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota spelled out to the Prime Minister of the damage likely to be done to the industry if Britain leaves the EU without a trade deal.
Top of the agenda was global competitiveness of vehicle manufacturers operating in Britain as negotiations with the EU appear to be making little progress."2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

The alternative.
Vote Labour
Pay EU whatever they want.
And in return for what???
No one knows
The other alternative.
Have another vote and then the remoaners win, and we stay in.
Then the Brexit crew moan for a few years again and we have another vote.
Brexit wins.
Hey Hoo back to square one.
We voted we are leaving so that’s get together and make the best of it.
If we don’t we are going to regret it a lot more.
Regards
Ray
