Back in the fold again sold my Disco 3 2 years ago and went to a Freelander 2 SD4 HSE, on the day it went I thought have I done the right thing? had just got it all sorted ie turbo, suspension arms, new clutch and flywheel and loads of other things, yeh sell it we dont need a big Disco a Freelander 2 is fine for us now as we had gone from a twin wheel caravan to a single axle so dont need the Disco, Freelander SD4 tows fantastic though a little twichie at times but pulls spot on. On our last trip off a chap pulled on the site with a Disco 4, wife cought me slavering over it and said oh no here we go again! yep she was right this set me off just having a little look to see what was for sale, it's funny how when your looking how many you see on the road, so that was it I want one, so thats what we have been doing last few days, hardest part was getting her to look but once she sat in one that was it, anyway I have bought one it's a 1 owner 62 plate HSE in siberian silver/blue it's a little up on miles 90000 but full main dealer history and spot on, got a 2 year waranty too, just hope I have done the right thing!!!!!Pick it up on Monday afternoon so 2 sleeps to go. Will post some photos later.

When you have second thoughts on the day you've definitely made a mistake ! Been there and done that.
I've thought about changing my Disco in the past but thankfully didn't. The longer I have it the more it's grown on me. Can't imagine getting rid of it now especially as I can't buy a new one any more ! Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

Great choice! Ive owned three FL2's and they were great cars, but a D4 is something else all together.
Interested to see those photos when it arrives

Dont mean made a mistake as in wish I had not bought it, I mean hope it is all o/k, you know what i mean ya pays ya money and take ya chance, after the problems in the first few month with the Disco 3 dont want to go down that road again.

2 year warranty sounds good, but then I have had next to no problems with my D4s Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I meant getting rid of your D3 not buying your D4. That was definitely the right decision Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

I see what you mean now, am really looking forward to picking it up and playing with all the toys, will be sorry to see my Freelander go though they are a nice motor and that SD4 is nice.

mine does that too ... but somehow never adds "blessed" to "nuisance"  .
