| Help needed yet again with my radio |

Hiya guys,
here I go again more problems with the radio on my 05 D3.
It sometimes just won't turn off even with the key out ,
Sometimes when I turn the key on I get a blank screen. But get sound no controls.
I also sometimes get a flashing screen no sound won't turn off.
But tonight a real head ache, all working ok then out of the blue the radio went to full volume on its own and could not turn it off ! No controls working Had to pull fuse 5 amp 52
Can anyone throw any light ?? Beanie grill , detangoed , waxoiled, disco3 sticker, rear tints, spare wheel protector, fantastic BAS Remap, three flash indicators, reverse lights follow me home. EGRs blanked. AMK compressor upgrade. D4 rear lights. DAB radio replacement.

Bump Beanie grill , detangoed , waxoiled, disco3 sticker, rear tints, spare wheel protector, fantastic BAS Remap, three flash indicators, reverse lights follow me home. EGRs blanked. AMK compressor upgrade. D4 rear lights. DAB radio replacement.

Hi bud,
I had low line unit in a 08 (single cd ) , sometimes get in and start playing radio before key went in .
The main fault was listen to it loud about 18 and would cut out saying overheat , lasted about a year on then head unit dead.
Checked fuses fine took out which is quite easy and checked live to radio (purple wire permanent live) black below it earth ...., all fine and fitted a double din Kenwood CarPlay . And I won't look back
Other problem when the units on way out and when mine was dead , they must develop a short inside not enough to blow the fuse but drain the battery , I had 11.5 v when I took it out and checked and drove then without it battery back to 12.5v.
Hope this helps as I can see a few others on the site with similar 👍

Thanks Stu , I have all relevant fuses pulled at the min . And I will keep an eye on everything else for a while. Joys of d3 aye !!
