that would have been impressive !! .

You can do that with "hey Siri" if you have your iPhone connected to Bluetooth.
You can stop and start the music etc from your phone.
The added advantage is you can ask it to call people or write text messages verbally and it happens all through the car speakers

Siri doesn't sleep, I use it like this but have to turn the music down as my phone sits in the drink holder in a sleeve so needs a bit of help hearing me. I use it if I have to phone someone as it's easier than scrolling through all my contacts.
Steve engine noise isn't a problem in a D4, to be fair it wasn't in my D3 either but that was in a cradle like Rich's.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Paul I don't use the phone out in the open in the cabin ...not even in a cradle, it stays in my pocket or if it's charging it's in the centre cubby. I have it attached via BT or have the hotspot running though and it works fine for that but would be useless for voice commands.
Steve yes it is attached to my phones hotspot ...but you have to trick it into finding it by logging into the Alexa App via another phone or tablet and then attaching it to the hotspot that way.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Ah yes.... but through car speakers!?
I got mine hooked up through a mobile hot spot but couldn't get the bluetooth connection to play it through car speakers so I used an aux lead plugged into the aux socket in the glove compartment.
Alsorts of interference coming through ! Yes the music played but akin to a vinyl record with hiss and pops.
Tried different leads but to no avail - lots of noise - anyone found the same or a solution?
Cheers in advance! Discovery 4 HSE White
