D4 wheels /tyres combo

Hi all

New to the forum and first question...

We have just bought a 2011 D4 landmark, fitted with 20" diamond cur alloys, and pirelli scorpion zero's.

Now if a thread already exists a link would be much appreciated and save you all the bother of repeating yourselves Very Happy or i will go ahead and ask...

My question is, we tend to do a bit of general off road (I am a equestrian photographer, and my OH competes in equestrian events, so she tows fairly large horse trailers), we drive mostly grass, and areas that will have a lot of traffic movement in fields and tracks etc, we use Wranglers on our Puma and those are fine, but what in your opinions whould be best as a wheel & tyre combo for these surfaces please? (oh...forgot to mention I also do quite a few miles on motorways between shoots)

Saying that I am assuming that the Zeros already fitted won't be up to the job.

Any practical advice would be much appreciated!!

Cheers in advance

Steve

In the same dilemma.

Looks like the all round vote goes to the Pirelli ATR as a semi off roader, however they don't seem to make it in a 20" profile. Otherwise your looking at Grabbers which are pretty good but apparently get a bit noisy when worn.

Having said all that - had zeros on my previous D3 and they were faultless. Had many adventures from snow to deep mud and they always performed. Might have helped that they were attached to one of the most capable cars ever made though Wink

 Last of the D4 HSE...

Thanks

We are still looking atm, but the 20" rims are going as are the tyres...we can't take the chance as we spend a lot of time on wet fields with ruddy trailers on it (well my oh does...I try to avoid THAT!).

BTW I have had a inquiry by PM for these but I can't reply until i make three posts!! so if the person that messaged me can hang fire I will reply soonest!!
