Please help to retrofit my auto lamp option Disco 4
Hi I have a Disco 4 2016 S grade. mine came without Fogs. then i added Fogs. now the new switch for the fogs comes with Auto lamp on option. Does anyone know if added only the rain sensor with activation without replacing the windscreen to electrochromic windscreen my auto lamp option still work? maybe my disco 4 comes with electrochromic windscreen. how do i identify this? i am not concern on rain sensors to work my wipers. I only need auto lamp to work. Please help... thanks in advance
Weighing that up, I was going to talk to local firm to sort one, then on a trip to Salisbury on Saturday I picked up a bulls eye in my current screen , its on passenger side and seems contained

Already trial fitted photochromic mirror and sensor, all works as expected

I have all the plugs in the headlining Russell yes, I added the master switch a while ago to get front fog switch, so plug in and then a simple ccf edit for the auto lights
In principle yes, but you will need to mount the sensor on a clear bit of windscreen to get it to work correctly, otherwise if the sensor thinks it's dark, the lights will be on Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Again in theory yes, but without clear glass on the screen area you attach it to, they'll be a pain and wipe when not neededAltox GSM FBH controller thread

Yes, I confirm that it can be because I have done it, and that the cables are there and that it will work if you activate it, in my place it was Geoff. 2 or 3 years ago....
But to all this, in addition to the sensor mentioned, you lack 2 details, you will have to change the front screen for the variant for sensor and this forces you to put the photosensitive interior mirror, cheap purchase in flebay ....and then .....you have to activate it and I assure you YES it will work lost in translation!
