Split charge fitted

As the title says i just want to know the max battery size that i can fit in the second battery location under the bonnet. As some of you know i balls this up last time and now have a Optima yellow top surplus to requirements Whistle I have seached with no definitive answer Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

It leaves a ridge mark of the plastic cover in the sound insulator on the underside of the bonnet, I just look at it as a but of extra hold on the battery. It works a treat and the car hasn't burst into flames. Yet. Laughing Laughing

Del where did you get the battery clamp for your second battery ?

Standard LR part, but you need the part for LHD cars. You will ask your garage for the correct part, LR parts will send the wrong part coz they assumed you got it wrong then they will be told that you got it right and you want the LHD car battery bracket. Eventually you get the right bracket. Whistle Whistle

YJF500100 ISTR and I used the upright bars that were fitted for the original aux battery. Thumbs Up

Gone for that one Stephen as it fits in ok with a little room to manoeuvre as i also have a control unit in there for my FBH Thumbs Up
