Youngest did talk about land rover logo puddle lights ages ago but probably forgotten by now.

As long as i get a bottle of laphroiag quarter cask, I'll be reasonably happy 😊

LR sell a set of 3 wine bottle stoppers to look like the series 1 gear range levers, they bring back great memories for me anyway .https://shop.landrover.com/uk/heritage-darien-gap-bottle-stoppers-51lbgf205bka
Hope the link works.

I too miss my father. He died 6 years ago and would have been 97 now. He was a man who knew a lot about what mattered and did not give two hoots about the rest.

They just make the best of everything they have.

just a card is more than enough for me, show they remembered and spend the money on their own houses/cars/needs.

Always stop and pause to have a think about my own dad, departed five years now, gives me a lump and tears well up (as I am now Big Cry ) but always ends with a smile as something good remembered

43 years ago this month mine died. As a result I tend not to celebrate Fathers Day.

If I did, I'd chance the heart attack with a Strip O Gram. Laughing

Dad passed away last August, it would have been his Birthday last Saturday, Father's Day this week. Makes this month less than fun!
Just appreciate your Father being around and enjoy that.

On the plus side second grand child was born early yesterday morning.
So have her to distract my mind.

A new birmingham screwdriver for me, seeing as how I manged to break one of the claws off my trusty old one. Its not the value, it's the "usefullness" that counts (the "need" rather than the "want") Thumbs Up
