Anyone here do "jobs" for extra money?
Thought I would ask here before I spend money at a garage.
I am going to get 2 front lower arms fitted soon, but wondered if anyone on here did jobs like these to earn cash? Would be a benefits for both of us, me save a bit and them get cash!

I do support where I can.
AF have £500+ of my money in the last couple of weeks, this site has received a donation from me and will receive another from selling my lights.
The fact is, via a Merc forum for my other car, a guy who really needs some extra cash has been able to do things to improve his life because he pops round to peoples houses and does work on their cars for some spends.
I thought it would be nice thing to do on here too, hence my question.
I think that's a great idea, I use this site as a fountain of knowledge and if I can pass on a few pounds to someone who can help me all the better
If I need something doing I look on here first for help. Some times the site "Sponcers" are too far away or busy, but I have had excellent service from Bodsy who always seems happy to help, and AF have had all of the parts orders so far, just ordered agian today2006 D3 HSE

Other sponsors who carry out this type of work are also trying to improve their lives by earning a living.
Your proposal could not be promoted here on a casual basis I'm afraid

Sorry DG are you saying I am in the wrong (not meant with any anger) all I'm saying is I try to spend my money with people from the forum first if that's with Sponcers or ordinary people that's fine with me2006 D3 HSE

Not wishing to make a judgement on what you do and I'm pleased that you have supported a sponsor already ... what I'm saying is that casual cash jobs couldn't be promoted here because that would undermine other sponsors who carry out the service you are requesting
I went through uni and first couple of years after that getting beer money helping friends fix their cars.
Few quid here and there, not an issue surely? Turn it into a business and it's an awful lot more complicated..

The problem is all those few quids add up to a shadow economy worth over £150 billion, which is maybe £40 billion in lost tax revenue, which would pay for most of Mr Corbyn's promises.==================================
