Height restrictions

Looking at the sun visor label with the car height show it's a bit confusing unless someone has a reasonable explanation.

6'6" =1981 yet their conversion is 1970 ,
6'4" = 1931 theirs 1920

I know it's not a lot but how do you loose 11 mm

I have a carpark near to were we live it's clearly marked 2M (2000)
It's also marked in brackets 6'6" which is clearly wrong

So now I find myself checking every Censored car park I'm going to Rolling with laughter

Convert 1.97 meters to feet and inches

Result:
6 feet and 5.5589 inches

Convert 1.92 meters to feet and inches

Result:
6 feet and 3.5904 inches

Looks like they've converted from metres to imperial and just rounded off the inches Thumbs Up

There are variations in the actual vehicles from the sticker. What I did was go into a parking area where I knew it would easily fit, then measure the actual clearance between (in my case) the rack and the ceiling of the parking area, then deduct this figure from the measured height from ceiling to floor. No surprise it was different from Land Rover's figures!
