mint green does not work for the D4 yikes.

That is nearly as bad as a FFRR I seen today....bright Metallic Orange (Think of a Terry's chocolate orange wrapper)
I wasn't dead against it ... Until I looked at 2nd photo on that auto trader link.
Black rear lights look awful with this colour..

With the wheel arches, door handles, wing mirrors and some light guards in the original black plastic this colour would look good IMHO. All DIY and keep the originals.
Leave the main front and rear bumpers alone.
You then have a rare and cool look, the colour is desirable just needs a bit of character worthy of the brand.
