The global locking system puts all windows down but only drivers side up which I found out last night after leaving it in a car park in Taunton for three hours, but at least it was nice and cool to get back in,any ideas please.

Not sure on D3, but if the drivers window has an anti trap mechanism, it can have one shot up, whereas the other windows need to have an operator present to control them.
Do they all go up if you hold your finger on the button? Is there any movement on the other three windows when performing a global close?

Hi, thanks for reply it's a disco4,both o/s windows go up but n/s stay down and does not matter how long you press the key fob.

Yes you need to reset the auto close. Each window in turn all the way down then all the way up and hold the switch for a few seconds once it's closed.

do they sound like they try to close ?
could be extra resistance due to something expanding because of this unseasonal weather we're suffering ?
as you say n/s is still not working ... turn the car round and see if problem stays on n/s ?
who'd have though a June day would be hot and sunny ? I blame the government. .

Do the nearside windows go up with one press of the button when the ignition is on? I'm wondering if there's an issue with the door modules on that side?

I'm more surprised that it's not a feature that becomes apparent in torrential rain.
It is a Discovery we're talking about after all. 😐 .

You are trying to do this with the window buttons on the drivers door not on the key fob?

You are trying to do this with the window buttons on the drivers door not on the key fob? yes, I think that would be the only way you could do them individually?

Is this using the switches on each door or from the drivers door? I'm thinking there's an issue with both door modules if that's the case.

Ignition on
From the drivers seat, fully open the window. Release the switch, then reapply to open position and hold for at least 2 seconds.
Close the window. Release the switch, then reapply for at least 2 seconds.
Repeat on other Windows from drivers seat.
Worked on my D4.
