Where do i put my Mobile phone

This is the dutch guy calling from Germany,

I know it is very forbidden to operate the Mobile whilst driving.
But let´s say i want it somewhere visible but i don´t want to put it on the windshield.
I have some Phone holders but the Suction cups do not stick on nothing in the car.

where do you put your mobiles?

Warmest regards from Germany!

If you want to use it as a satnav, I would think the windscreen would be the best place.
For anything else, it should be hands free, and you dont need to see it. Keep it in your pocket Thumbs Up

To much of a distraction for me, so mine is out of sight

(I'm not disciplined enough to not glance at texts etc. from work)

WOw, that was fast!

Thanx for the Brodit Link. That was what i was looking for.
I need the Mobile for Routetracking.
Also with 2000 Telefonnumbers, sometimes i need to find them on the phone directly (whilst parking ofcourse)...

Brodit to the right for the phone, RAM Mount to the left for ipad. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Am looking at how to put a Brodit holder up in the dash cubby box for a second iPhone running Google Maps as main nav unit, will depend on how wobbly it is when fitted. Thumbs Up

ipad is really for running mapping app for deepest darkest Finland (maps.me or GoogMaps in sat photo mode to see where tracks go), it's too far out of line of sight with the road to use as day to day nav. Plus it is also running the music systems for my bangin toonz. At the mo I have google maps as main nav on the iPhone with TomTom running in background mainly for speed camera warnings. Main advantage to a second unit running GoogMaps up front is I can happily use the phone without having to flick through screens to get maps back. Plus it is bang in line of sight with the tarmac. Thumbs Up

They would be very uncomfortable as the seat back is bolt upright as there is a 20ltr water Jerry car wedged between the seat and the Engel. Whistle Whistle

The cans are insect repellant and RAID (fly killer) so they might not like my destinations. Plus they might eat my pasta salad!!! Evil or Very Mad

Laughing

PS and they might want to use one of those cup holders. They're mine, all mine, I tell ya! Mr. Green

you could another Brodit on the right side of the H trim this is where mine is clipped. From a viewing perspective following maps and the road is relatively easy. Will never be as good as stuck on the windscreen.
