Hello everyone this is my first time on here so please be gentle I want to do a 2015 conversion to my discovery 3 front end and I have seen people cut down the wings but robbo770 has deleted all his posts the other person is bobs so I was wondering if I could be checky and ask if anyone has a copy of the template that robbo770 put upon the wiki that I can have please if not any info would be great like wing measurement or something like that so I can try to figure it out

Thanks for the links I have read them and there is no template or guide for cutting back the wings anything else I have looked through the wiki and can't find anything I understand if nobody wants to help as I am new and asking for a lot of help already I just don't want to mess up cutting the wings as I can't afford to buy disco4 wings and paint them

The template is in the first post in the first link, you've obviously not seen it.

 must be blind as a bat today  plus I'm new to the hole forum thing I'll get there once I figure things out hopefully I can contribute to helping others in the future thanks again

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to get a D4? D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven
Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

sorry for asking for help again but I cant seam to print the template to the proper size does anybody know how to do this I'm a complete numpty when it comes to computers

Has anyone actually used the wing template to cut back there wings if so how do you print it out to the right size so it fits the d3 wing

I have never used the template but looking at it I would suggest you need to experiment with your printer settings and probably have access to an A3 printer for best results.
If you don't have access to an A3 printer I would tactfully suggest you contact a D4 owner and possibly, make your own template to match their vehicle or use their vehicle for accurate measurements which can then be transferred to your wings.
Remember the golden rule, measure twice, cut once........if it was me, I'd measure it 30 times.  Mods:
