[For Sale] Very early press launch Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE manual
A rare chance to own a piece of Land Rover history
I am selling my very early Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 manual. First registered on 3rd of August 2004 ahead of the main release to the public
KW04 ULC formed part of a 125 strong fleet used for press evaluation and media events held on the Eriboll estate in the far north of Scotland. You may have seen Jeremy Clarkson taking a Discovery 3 to the top of a hill and getting stuck on Top Gear in one of the other cars from the same fleet. Showing an extremely low VIN number of 335 this may be the earliest Discovery 3 alive and well and safely being preserved. The Dunsfold collection have a very early model showing a VIN of 423 so this car is even earlier than the one they currently have.
The car comes with a huge folder of receipts showing work done all from main dealers using genuine Land Rover parts adding up to many thousands including the following
Handbrake module 11/16,New battery (Exide 017) 10/16,Rear and front suspension arms
Brake discs/pads front and rear 8/15
Handbrake shoes 8/15
Alternator (Denso) 3/15
Starter motor 1/15
Fuel pump 11/14
Flywheel 2/13

Timing belt 2/13 (fitted at 71454 miles)
The car will come with a full years MOT
