Discovery 3 wont start after blanking the ERG valves |
|
Dear members. Today I blanked off my ERG valves on my Disco 3 2006, bit tedious but never mind its done. When I went to start the engine i got all sorts of error codes up from parking brake to throttle etc and I have a red light flashing on the dash. I have a Hawkeye diagnostic i bought last week but this is no help at all.
Has anyone else had this issue ? Please help if you can as I can not close the windows in the car or lock the doors. Many thanks in advance. Dave.

sounds like you have flattened the battery?
or maybe left some of the plugs disconnected on the intake.
The 2 pin map sensor throws up loads of error codes, if not connected

Peter K you are correct. I checked the battery and it was goosed.........thought I had broken something when I did the blanking of the ERG but as it turns out the battery is well dead. Thanks for the replies guys as always I am very grateful for the help from this forum.
