Name and Shame
Having been reluctant to do so until now I think it's time.
Lent some tools to forum member Craiggillin1985 so he could fit an A Bar I'm still waiting for them to be returned.
This has gone on for some months now. My texts, phone calls and PM's have all gone unanswered.
Didn't want to do this and if I'm wrong then please remove post, but thought I'd let genuine members know we still have the odd one who isn't.
A very p d off

With the amount of times I've sent a message and rang, and left a message each time, I don't think it's an oversight. He won't see this as he hasn't posted since he borrowed my tools so that tells me what kind of person he is.D4 MY15 SE TECH

It's a sod when you do something in good faith & it backfires.
Lending out tools especially.
Over my working life & at home I've lent the odd piece of kit out.
But made it quite clear when I'd expect it back, beyond that I'd come & get it it + if it were damaged or broken....the lender would fix or replace.
One piece of kit lent out was then sub to another person, subsequently broken.
Power tools - dropped leads cut, chucks damaged component parts "lost" & tools dropped & cracked.
Ladders - covered in paint, bent rungs.
Socket sets - lent - individual items not returned.
That's when I stopped lending things out.
The tools I have now (that I had to save up the hard way for in leaner times) are just too good too good.
May appear a bit harsh but I've learnt the hard way too.
Naming & shaming is the least I can do
Just to answer the question before anybody asks "I don't borrow anything" if I haven't got I just find a way around the task or don't do..BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
there could be a valid reason he's not getting back to you ... might be enjoying a stretch at Her Majesty's pleasure for stealing rivnut tools.
not sure you can go off his address in profile ... my location is junction of M61/East Lancs..
