STILL have judder-update, story and question below

So far I have had new discs and pads, ARB bushes, drop link, lower arms and bushes, inner and outer track rods and I still get the steering wheel wobble when lightly braking.

So I thought I would do a "disc clean" and went off to a quiet road yesterday morning.

5 times from 80 to 20 hard on the brakes.

On the last one, there was smoke coming from the drivers side wheel. I drove home nice and steady to cool the brakes off and that side smelled really hot when I got in. No other braking issues like pulling to one side etc

Is it a caliper issue/sliding bolts?

Cheers

Sticky Calliper slides. On my push bike when brakes are tuned so the rotation goes into the rear of the Vee ... The front of the pad slaps the rim causing oscillation. If the nose ( into the rotation) of the Vee touches the rim first... You get smooth braking.

I had your issue for 700 miles and eventually just went away ... Instantly. Which is why I concluded the slides were the fault. Seen people on here change pads but comes back after brake pads wears down to the point where oscillation occurs.

Having said all that ... Not sure how to fix ... WD40 and smack with a hammer?

Should have also mentioned that 150 miles prior to this issue (braking judder) my EPB seized in my garage due to going thru 20 meters of salt water at height of 15cms.

I have changed pads and discs (v8 upgrade was already on vehicle when purchased) lower arms all checked
4 wheel alignment checked all good
Have noticed a noise coming from upper arm would this arm cause juddering under light braking also was think tie rods but when alignment done they didn't mention any problems
Any advice from any one
