Parking sensors can you test them on the bench?

Hello,

If anyone could help it would be massively appreciated.

Does anyone know if I could test the parking sensors while I have them out on the bench, if so how could I carry this out?

The reason I am asking this is, I have testest the wiring harness in the rear bumper and the harness from the connection plug at the rear lights back to the parking aid module and these are all fine with a electrical metre.

The front harness has been replaced about a year ago. I start the car and get the common long beep and then flashing light constantly on the dash. I have no fault showing on the display. It has been plug in for fault code reading and the guy told me it was a electrical short/no power. None of the sensor click when I have them plugged in and in reverse.

Many thanks for your time guys. Very Happy
