Just got my car back after having this upgrade done
Tested it with 3 different mobiles and all of them downloaded the full phonebook
Also while the car was at the dealers they did the Navigation on the move upgrade
Thanks to Gordon Lamb Land Rover for doing the upgrades and for 'The Large One' in telling us that the Bluetooth upgrade was available Zambezi Silver TDV6 HSE, Privacy glass, Side steps and Maxxraxx 5 Bike carrier.

From what I'm told, my D3 did have to have a new bluetooth unit as the original would not take the software download, however this new one still needed the software update before it would download the phonebook via bluetooth. I spoke to the service manager last week and he told me that they have done quite a few of these upgrades and only had problems with 2 of them - one my D3 and the other a FFRR. Zambezi Silver TDV6 HSE, Privacy glass, Side steps and Maxxraxx 5 Bike carrier.

I still think it is disgraceful that LR are charging for this "upgrade", after all without it it can hardly be described as "Personal Telephone Integration" when via bluetooth it barely has more function than a headset.... Cheers

Other than that - admit defeat and buy an aftermarket kit that does what you want for Freelander 2 Diesel, Discovery 3 / RR Sport TDV6 & RR Sport TDV8, Defender (TD5 & Puma) - available Now!

Just got back from Guy Salmon Maidstone and they can not find any details of this TSB
I showed them the details of TLOs post (removed any names etc ), but just got blank faces
I told them that a friend had there's done at Gordon Lamb Land Rover and may be they should contact them, more blank faces
Told them to contact me once they have found out about it..... Not holding my breath..... If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.
