Well after chasing down my strange groaning noise for months and reading about every thread going, yesterday I took the fan off and checked the aircon pulley and it's got play in the bearing.
Now, I've read the relevant threads, but they all seem to relate to D3s and I can't find just the pulley for a D4 anywhere on tinternet, and it's not the same as a D3 is it?
Does anyone know if the pulley or even just the bearing on a D4 (3.0 TDV6) is a DIY or is it a new compressor job? Jaguar Land Rover: "Building great cars, badly."
