Airvent
I purchased my first disco on friday and now I noticed it has missing part on passenger side air vent. Do I need to buy new air vent or are there spare parts available?

Yes I have LHD and the vent that need replacing is on passengers side. So from UK it is nearside vent?
Is it difficult to replace?

Reviving an old thread rather than starting a new one as have a related issue.
I’ve noticed that I cannot close the dash air vent to the left of the steering wheel using the thumbwheel open/close underneath it. It is stuck open no matter where the thumbwheel points to. It seems as if the connection between the thumbwheel and the vent closer has become disconnected.
Is it possible to get into the vent to check without take panels out of the dash? If so could someone let me know the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance
CheersGary

Thanks for the more detailed info and the offer of a spare.
The advice on removing the trim to get at the vent is for a D3. Will have to try to find something online about what I need to take out to get at it on my 2015 D4.

that's the easy bit - just yank it off
and don't lose any of the small clips - honestly - that's it.
