Re momento, keeping this key on the lace. It was around my neck all through the day, sometimes even when I slept, and was useful to unlock doors without rummaging through pockets. Plus I always knew where the spare was.

Number was put on retention as soon as I knew what was going to play out, just did it on t'web from the local supermarket car park up there. Docs waiting for me when I got back yesterday. Thumbs Up

4,300 in 13 days and 4,386 in 9 days respectively. Glad to be sitting in a seat that isn't moving and knees not pressed in the dash. Thumbs Up

Thanks Dave, good to be back. Thumbs Up

D&G, my history of road trips goes back well before D3 ownership. Fiat Panda 4x4 S of Spain, RR Classic to Pyrenees, 110TD to S Greece, RR VM TD to Pyrenees, Vauxhall Astra to Northcape, 2 x campervans both to fairly high up in Norway, hire car round much of SW USofA, plus prob a good few I can't think of. Road Trips are a bit of an itch that just need scratching.

Well I hope that means we will have another trip to follow next year.

My Dad had a Panda 4x4, good little car but a long road trip in it, only for the young and agile me thinks.
