Put the disco on the ramp to do one job and found another
Stuck the disco on the ramp to do a decat earlier and noticed the rubbers on the centre bearing. Looking on here there's mixed views on replacing bearing ( carrier ) or the whole shaft, or even read good results from stickaflex. If I was to go the new propshaft route Wich I've seen for around £150/£200 will I be replacing the bearing again 6 months down the line due to it not being a genuine part?

Cant tell you lifespan, but i fitted GKN from island4x4 labelled as britpart!
But the weird notchy feel in the rear prop u/j was unusual and I reckon its down to the lack of working angle which is bad for prop u/js, and I reckon refurbing them is going to be a short term waste of money.
Add new u/j and centre bearing plus your time and possible not great end result, why bother? after all if the original one has done 100k for example, its not likely most people are going to be doing it again
