Codes need reading around Bradford area

Hi all I'm new here so please be gentle!
Firstly forgive me if posted in wrong section.
I bought a 55 reg disco se a week ago and am having trouble with the faults i see a lot have had.
Suspension light, hdc fault etc etc.
Seems to happen around 40 minutes of driving and mostly when it's raining.
What im asking is this, id rather get it plugged in and try and cure rather than just change parts for the sake of it.
Is there anyone near me with the equipment, can anyone recommend any where?
Thanks in advance Andy

If it's happening during a drive are you losing HDC, Special Progs and is the suspension lowering too?

Have the steering angle sensor recalibrated and see if that helps but be warned, it's a precursor to requiring some work done because something is wearing out usually steering arms, track rod ends etc.

Hi, yes suspension lowers too as you stated!
It had 4 months mot left on it but previous owner offered to put fresh mot on it and it passed with only an advisory on a rear hub bearing with slight play.
Is the calibration expensive then?

No, it's very cheap and takes 2 seconds once plugged into the correct diagnostic kit.

It does sound like steering angle sensor very much.
A trip over to forum member Flack at Preston would be a good idea. Thumbs Up

NARPY...a big Thumbs Up from me, you were spot on, had the four wheel alignment done and steering recalibration and 250 miles later no errors!

And a massive thanks to the lads at MMJ for their services and quick turnaround, I highly recommend these guys, with a special thanks to Russ
