To be fair to this chap, he was travelling north on the M5 towards Bristol on the last weekend of the Easter holibobs, so he was probably cycling faster than most cars were driving:
I thought it was probably a BMW driver that grassed him to the police, not wanting anyone/anything else on the motorway network travelling faster than they were. But it instead turns out:
