Reversing light upgrade, which one?

Had a look for recommendations re LED reversing lights, but just got confused. Any recommendations from AF? I did find "GLO112" but got nothing found.

Suggestion peeps, please. Thumbs Up

I've got the Halfords 382 LED Upgrade 21W bulbs in mine, very bright and nice and white. If you've got a trade card, they cost £10 for the pair and have a 5 year guarantee I think.

You could always fit a Rigid Industries LED pod and wire it into the reversing circuit as well as put a 3-way switch up front so you can switch it on as a stand alone rear light or when a tailgater flashes you at night...

Not that I condone the latter...or have looked at the wiring...or have a switch and light handy that just needs fitting...

Just upgraded bulbs will be fine, I don't want NASA to think there's been a solar flare on the drive. Plus trying to keep this car as standard as possible, it's a novel experience. Thumbs Up

Will have a loook at the Halfords ones. Thumbs Up

Be aware I fitted some led reverse light bulbs and they stayed on when driving, I never noticed but luckily a workmate told me, I can only assume as they use so little power the slightest bit was enough to power them up.

More curious than worried.

OK fair one. Is there a legal issue with regard to the brightness of reversing lights?

I have an LED spot wired up to my reversing lights, fitted professionally and been through an MOT.

They're not checked as part of the MoT so shouldn't cause any issue. The only problem is if they are on while driving forward. I used to run 2 15w LED work lights as reversing lights never an issue for MOT.

There was a thread some while back about upgrading reverse lights and I got some that were recommended back then. They are very good and still going strong. I'll see if I can find the thread.
They are the corn on the cob type as I recall. Wink
