Anyway it has the stick and not the knob for the gears.
So it sure has a 6 gear box.
Did thy not change nything with the engine 2012?

Hi again.
Assuming that the car is in great shape except the engine.
MY 11, 74 500 miles 2993 cm3 engine 6 gear box
It is a TDV6 engine. Says in the papers 155kW.
What is a decent price to pay for the car?
Is it possible to retrofit a 8 gear box?
Has it been done?
Links?
Is it better and possible to change to a SDV6 engine?
Please help!!!!

The SDV6 is the same as the TDV6. The engines are the same, just different badging etc. The later 2012 had a slightly higher HP, I assume through the map.
Not sure why you would bother trying to put an 8 speed in. There is nothing wrong with the 6 speed!
I don't know if it's possible to fit an 8 speed, but suspect it's more involved than just trying to bolt one in!
