5Amp CTEK charge cycle
Hi folks,
Left the fridge on at the weekend and battery wouldn't start my D3. Got a jump start and gave it a nice long run.
I've not long bought the 5 Amp CTEK charger so think I will give it a blast. Just wondering how long the cycle will take so I can leave it to work its wonders.
Thanks in advance

As it sounds like you've drained a lot out of the battery, I'd leave it charging overnight if you can D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership

Talking several hours or best to leave it over night.
When battery 100% charged you get a green light at the end of the orange row.
When No.4 orange light is lit this signifies 80% charged.

Thanks, I'm understand it does a programmed cycle depending on battery condition and charge but last one I used was the smaller 0.8Amp. And that took 3 days. Just ordered the towing aux adaptor as maybe useful over the winter for monthly conditioning.

Yeah the 5 is a lot quicker than the 0.8. (Just make sure you have the car option selected not bike)
The manual states ~20 hours but I would be surprised if it took longer than a night.
I see Bentley have stared putting charge ports next to the number plate light, which is a real neat place to locate them. External and hidden.
